Failed Profile Export

I can not seem to successfully export my Profiles, either all or such a subset.

Seems the SmartSDR does not have permission to write. Where should I look to solve this issue.

Thanks,

Hi Ken, when you click the Export button, a window pops up asking you where to put the exported profiles. I select my Documents folder and click the Make New Folder button. I named mine Flex Config and Profiles. You can name it anything that makes sense to you. Once the folder is created, click the OK button to save the profiles. I chose my Documents folder because I know that I have write access to it.

Once you create this, it will automatically select it, making it easy to do future exports.

Len, Thanks for your suggestion. I have the same folder setup, however, when I try to ‘export’ a 0kb file is written to that directory and the write process never seems to complete. My next step might be a hard reset, willing to try any other suggestions.

Hi Ken, might want to submit a help desk ticket. I'll bet Flex Support has seen this or something like it before.

Len, I found the issue… was playing with Tailscale VPN and it prevented Profile from being written to documents folder. Disabled and it ‘fixed’ my problem(s).

Thanks… it’s always the last thing you try.

Thanks for sharing your solution, Ken. I'm glad it was an easy fix.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
