    6700 Firmware Upgrade Seems to Have Stalled

    in FLEX-6000 Signature Series
    I began a 6700 firmware upgrade to the latest version ( I was several minor versions behind) and after two hours, the LED is still solid purple and the display reads: Updating Software.
    Is this expected behavior?
    At what point do I power the 6700 off?
    What are the recovery steps?

      Hi Rick, I would open a help desk ticket.

      I have had that happen with both my 6500 and my 6600M. After about 1/2 hour I gave up and powered the radio off. Removed DC power for a few minutes, then reconnected my power supply. Turned the power supply on and waited couple more minutes then powered on the radio itself. In both cases, the radio then completed the update and booted up normally.

      I am not saying this will be the case for you. But, it was what I experienced.
