CAT should carry selected slice audio including computer generated back to operator

Member ✭✭✭

From day one computer generated signals are not available via CAT. Currently CAT does not handle computer keying but available from back of radio, e.g. N1MM; this is not available over any network connection (local or distance remote).

Add to CAT audio all computer signals to the selected slice. This may include audio and "sidetone" for low latency CW, RTTY, DIGITAL as options.

    hi Stan,

CAT allows creation of a dedicated PTT port for either slice using RTS or DTR (or both) for keying from external programs **** as N1MM+. I just used this on three Flex radios at Field Day.

CAT is not designed to carry audio signals. That is what DAX is for.
