Spots

I am fairly certain the answer is “no,” but thought I would ask anyway: is there any way to place spots on the panadapter of a stand-alone M model (no computer)?

The spot info is routed through the radio and then to the client, so yes for Maestro standalone, 6xxxM or PC client.

    Hi Neil,

Just curious - how were you thinking of generating the spots ?

    Don’t know. That’s the question.

I use FRStack running on my pc to send spots data to my 6600M. The spots feature in SmartSDR just provides a display. It needs a 3rd party source connected to the internet for the spot data. So, no matter what, you need an internet connection and an application to connect to the spot server(s) to collect the data for display on your radio. You could use a small computer that can run Windows to run a spot collection program and tuck the computer out of the way.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
