Maestro C Edit TNF

HI,

I'm having trouble editing the width and position of Tracking Noise filters when using a Maestro C. I have no trouble creating a TNF by touching and holding the sceeen for a bit. However the placement of the filter is invariably far from the desired frequency. I see from the manual that one should touch the filter to bring up the edit functions, however I'm only rarely able to access the edit functions. I'm wondering what the trick is.

Thanks for any help,

Tom

You're having the same problem I encountered with my Maestro A and later on, my 6600M. The only solution I found that helps is to zoom in on the Slice receiver till it takes up more of your screen. Then, create your TNF from that point. Otherwise, it is near impossible to get it maneuvered into place easily. This was one of my main complaints. It would be better if the TNF could be attached to a knob and then be easily maneuvered into place.

Thanks, I believe that once you reach TNF editing function. one can use the TX menu knob on the Maestro C for editing the TNF. The trick is getting to the editing function. So far, zooming has not been helpful to me the TNF,

Editing the TNF can be done by holding your finger on the filter till a couple of selection boxes pop up. One should be for Width and the other for depth. I don't recall beyond that the method to make the actual settings. I just got too frustrated with how long it took to get it setup. So I quit using the TNF except for when I was running SmartSDR on my pc.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
