Has anyone tried to interface a Ten-Tec OMNI 6+ to a PGXL

I have the 6+ connected through the TX in/TX out line on the OMNI to the PGXL. This works fine on ssb. On cw and some digital modes this set up tries to turn the PGXL into a QSK amp (not good). If the software allowed a setting for hang time in the amp it could be adjusted to hold the amp in TX regardless of the OMNI TX out following the code characters. I actually have the QSK set to slow with a delay as I my brain has a hard enough time with cw without the radio jumping back and forth between characters. This receiver hang delay has no effect on the PGXL staying in TX mode. The key out connection on OMNI has no delay to it so It's too fast for the amp. There are still some things I have not tried yet but thought if someone has already invented the wheel there's no need for me to struggle with it. Even after the TGXL shows up and the 6600M gets returned from a tune up I would still like the option of running the Ten-Tec with the amp. Its just a great old radio.
