Control High Power Output at the PGXL

I have an all-Flex station and find that the power control isn't granular enough for me when you can only control the input power at 1-watt increments. Is there any reason you can't modify the PGXL API to set the power at the PGXL and then let the PGXL control the input power by talking to the Flex Radio?

I would love to see the ability to limit the output of the amplifier via the amplifier software. Not just adjusting the radios output power. That would be a positive change for the system.

This would be a nice feature to have but should only be in effect when the amplifier is in OPERATE mode and not STANDBY. This feature should be feasible since the SPE Amplifiers already implement it.
