Windows 11 on Apple Mac-M

I still use my Fled 5000 connected to an about 10 years old Mac mini. OS is Windows 10 run under Bootcamp.

I would like to change OS to Windows 11. Is my Mac- M powerful enough or should I change it to a newer machine? I am not familiar with Apple products.

I hope that Firewire port will still work on Windows 11.

This topic can be of interest to OMs still using Flex 3000 and 5000 radios.

All comments and suggestions will be appreciated.

Windows 11 is picky about the hardware it runs on. Since you have Win10 already, please download and run the "PC Health Check" from Microsoft. This will identify any issues regarding upgrade to Win11 - I often encounter too-old CPUs (anything lower than i7-6xxx) or lack of TPM (Trusted Platform Module).

My suspicion is that you may encournter a reluctant Win11, before you can even consider if you hardware would run it successfully.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
