SmartSDR for IOS bizarre connection function

Options

I use an iphone12 and an Ipad for connection to my 6500, usually both via the LAN at home, and Smartlink when away. Latest software on both IOS devices, and v3.7.3 on the flex.

Now.. I can see the available flex radio as a LAN(local) or smartlink option, and I can choose either for access ON THE IPAD... BUT, on the iphone I only see the available WAN option and cannot see the LAN option. I find that very strange.

Any thoughts ??

Thanks. K6ZA

Hi Paul. Thanks for the response. About a week ago I updated the iPhone to 17.3.1

the update apparently turned off the “local network” access in SDR settings. Bet others are scratching their heads on this since it has been working fine for lan access over the years and through many iPhone updates. Go figure. Maybe just on my phone ?? We will see.

thanks again for the heads up.

    cheers Barry K6ZA
