Remote "Power ON" indication?

On a 6600 is there any jack or accessory pin that would provide an indication that the radio is powered ON (not just in off/standby or GPSDO mode)?

We use a DIY program checking the IP adress and then showing if the flex answers or not on the power control webpage of the remote site.

    Hi Jim,

I don't know if this will work, but test the ACC pin 9 voltage with the rig off and on to see if it is a reliable indicator of power-on status. If it provides +5 VDC whenever power is applied, then it won't work for your application. If it follows the power button (or Remote ON), then you are all set. Depending on the amount of filtering (i.e. size of the caps on the line), it may take a bit for the voltage to decay when powered off.

Whoa...I missed that one. Sounds perfect for what I need. I'll give it a try as soon as I can locate an old VGA cable with connector intact.

    Thanks!
