About location of your 6400 radio

Kick Member ✭✭

hello to the community....

in order to optimize my radio room( my shack) ...can you tell me if you can place the 6400 radio in a vertical position...for example along your desk like a computer tower??

thank you for your reply , best regard,

Shouldn't be any problem at all. Just make sure all the ventilation fans are not covered.

Advantage of non-M radios. They can be placed nearly anywhere.

Per Dons remark, the air intakes are on the bottom and both sides of the case. I would make a spacer to keep which ever side opening unobstructed.
