Power Genius Firmware Issue

Options

I downloaded the Power Genius Utility and when I installed it, It performed a firmware update. I rebooted the amplifier, and all of the self checks come back OK. However, the amp won't produce power when I transmit. I'm feeding into a SteppIR antenna, using SDR version 3.5.9, I have DAX off, I'm in SSB, I'm operating on a Windows 11 platform, the radio is a 6600 (S/N is 3020-5861-6600-3610), and the Tuner Genius is in bypass mode. I'm able to make contacts but with no power other than the radio power. Any ideas? Jim Studer AK4I

In the PG XL app go to the configuration menu. Make sure CAt is unchecked.

make sure Flex is checked for each port you are connecting. Make sure the radio s/n is populated on left and the A side should be set to Ant1 and LAN keying. B side, if you use it, should be Ant2.

In SmartSDR go to Settings/Radio Setup and Transmit tab. Set TX Delay to 30.

Go to Settings/TX Band Settings set power out for each band to desired levels

In bottom right of SmartSdR make sure Amp is enabled.

The delay was set to 0. I changed it to 30 and magic, back to normal. I'm guessing that when I upgraded SmartSDR 2 days ago it reset the delay to 0, I hadn't tried to transmit using the amp since then and when I installed the Power Genius Utility and tried to contact someone in Brazil it was the first time I tried to use power so I noticed it.

    Thanks for the help.
