You can use both antenna ports for sending and /or receiving independently , Look at the your moving slice with frequency etc. There you see 2 times ANT1 ANT2 or RX ant . Choose this with the mouse. It will be remembered according to the band ( or your profile settings ) . Just understand you can and have to choose RX adn TX Ant each at its own. There is another way to switch antenna at the left side menu , I believe you can also find videos about that in youtube

Why use the Maestro user guide rather than the 6400M/6600M user guide?

I thing the 6400M/6600M user’s guide would be more helpful.

Neil, Possibly, but Milo's original question was "where in the radio these ports are connected".
As far as using the 2 antenna ports, the SmartSDR-Software-User-Guide would probably be helpful as you suggest.

I posted a link to the hardware manual previously.
I got that from the Flex web site. The SmartSDR user guides are there as well.
I'm guessing that you are asking about SmartSDR. You don't mention what version you are running so here are links to versions 2 and 3:

Hi Milo, Here is a link to the version 2 and 3 Maestro user's guides. The front panel of your 6400M is virtually the same as a Maestro in operation. Hopefully this helps.
