SmartSDR v2.10.1 is Now Available

FlexRadio announces the immediate availability of SmartSDR v2.10.1.

FlexRadio highly recommends upgrading to SmartSDR v2.10.1 at your earliest convenience and strongly recommends not reverting to any previous versions of SmartSDR v2 to ensure the issues fixed in this release do not reoccur.

SmartSDR 2.10.1 can be downloaded from the FlexRadio website. SmartSDR v2.10.1 is a maintenance release containing important software bug fixes for version 2 of SmartSDR for Windows, SmartSDR for Maestro, SmartSDR for M models, SmartSDR CAT, and DAX

Please download and review the SmartSDR v2.10.1 Release Notes included with the release package before installing SmartSDR v2.10.1 on your FLEX-6000.

IMPORTANT: Critical Update for M-Model and Maestro Users

A recently discovered Windows operating system (OS) function is responsible for consuming excessive amounts of disk space on the displays of M-model radios and Maestros. In some cases, it prevents the installation of SmartSDR software versions or results in the persistent display of the EULA message when booting a radio. SmartSDR v2.10.0 and greater adds file system management logic for M models and Maestro to mitigate excessive disk consumption. Downgrading the firmware to a version before SmartSDR v2.10.0 will result in Windows consuming all of the available disk space in the display on M-Model radios and Maestros.
