Sidetone bug with straight key

Support from the developer used to be very good and prompt, bug reports and suggestions were taken up and implemented. Now, however, somewhat disappointing experience:

For a long time I have repeatedly pointed out a bug with the CW sidetone in the "Straight Key" setting (ugly clicks, very rough sound, volume not adjustable). Only when choosing iambic the sidetone is ok. Unfortunately Marcus does not address this, the bug remains unchanged with each update. Am I the only OM who would like to work with straight key?

Maybe it helps if I complain a little bit here...
