Why is the display frequency squished?

I've had this issue since one of the SDR 3 upgrades a couple of years ago. I've never been able to figure what is causing it. I have tried selecting different displayed resolutions, even different monitors with no resolution. Can anyone point me to the answer? I don't think it matters but this is a Flex-6500 and it had this problem before the SIM card issues and has it still since Flex serviced the radio after it blew the second sim card.

I can live with it, but would rather not 😳

There is a certain font that needs to be downloaded. A search here on the community here will find it for you

SmartSDR requires two special fonts: Didact Gothic Font and Napoli Serial Extra Light Font. Your symptoms suggest that it is likely those fonts, for whatever reason, are missing. They can be downloaded from the following link:

Note that other causes for this problem have been found, one having to do with remote control as I recall.
