Hot Switching when Aborting CWX Transmission

Running 6500+Acom 2000A with SSDR 2.4.10, I quite often get complaints from the amp that it senses hot switching, when I abort a CW transmission. I.e. using CWX to transmit a message, and either pushing ESC or paddle this will instantly abort transmission, but apparently SSDR drops the AMP-key line not verifying RF is off.. Of course I have the TX enanble active but if I recall correctly this is only used at the very beginning of a transmission. But more often than I like, the amp complains, but not always so it seems there is a internal timing issue going on.

NB! This is only when ABORTING a CWX transmission, never at the start of a transmission. Any ideas how to prevent this?
