Is this T-Mobile at the radio location or remote location?
T-Mobile may be using carrier grade NAT or may be using IPv6.

Not being the expert on this, but from previous threads on here, if the connection at the radio end uses cgnat, smartlink won’t work to connect.

I checked NY3R’s connection with T-Mobile Home Internet. They are doing CGNAT.

Just used a T-mobile Hotspot for the month of February and had issues not only with speed but with connection through smart link. Review Grade poor. The idea was to use in my travel trailer with the 100Gig data plan for remote to the 6600. The connection on hotspot was excellent but performance was in a word lousy Some times the radio would connect but no waterfall or the ability to click on any menu item. I could connect by using remote desktop and using any of the digital modes FT-8 etc on the local computer. To compare used Verizon hotspot setup on Iphone 11 and had no trouble connecting. Probably a double NAT issue for T-mobile. I'm returning my hotspot. I have changed my Verizon plan to accommodate more data but at times it has audio dropouts but it is much more reliable than the T-mobile hotspot. Note: I'm not using 5G devices.

T-Maybe’s 5G in my area is a joke. My house is in a dead spot, and I mean dead. I’m only 30 miles outside New York City and in a decent sized suburban town.
I would NOT get T-Maybe for home Internet. Luckily the local cable company upgraded us to fiber and I have 300/300 speed with home phone for $68 a month.
I do have T-Maybe for our cell phones but may switch back to $$Verizon$$ when the contract is up. I do not use the phone as a hotspot but do use it with SmartSDR for IOS, which works if in coverage area.
