    If I buy a used 6600 do I need to buy a software upgrade from Flex? The rig has a v3 on it.

      No. The version 3 license goes with the radio hardware. You can upgrade to any version 3.xx that is released at no additional cost.

      And for future reference, any future V3 updates won’t incur a charge. If (ever) a V4 is released, an upgrade fee is expected.
