Will Maestro work between two radios?
I ordered a new 6400 which is currently in the "Manufacturing Queue", with a Maestro. Then I just purchased a 'previously loved' 6600M. The two radios will be on different HF antennas, with one of them, possibly, used with a 2 meter transverter.
Will I be able to switch back and forth between radios easily, or will this require a reboot of the Maestro to move from one radio to the other?

Yes, you can switch from one to the other without re-booting. I don't have a Maestro, so I can't give you the fine details.
Since the 6600 is an M model, if the front panel is in use, the second Maestro will connect in MultiFlex mode. This is not bad, just something to be aware of. You can put the 6600 M into SmartControl mode and have the Maestro connected without MultiFlex.
Take a look at the Maestro manual chapter 6 (Connecting to a Radio), chapter 5 (MultiFlex) and chapter 9 (SmartControl) for more info.
It sounds a bit confusing at first, but once you see how it works, it is all fairly easy.
