Odd behavior with new computer

in SmartSDR for Windows

I recently became the owner of a Dell computer - sort of like a Mac mini in size.

It is running Windows 10 home, latest updates. 8 GB Ram, 500GB SSD drive.

I installed SSDR latest version on it, and when staring SSDR, it wants to connect with multiflex - although Maestro is not running at the moment.

It connects to SSDR for a while. DAX and Cat are quirky to conenct, then the radio suddenly loses connection without any noticeable issues with the network connection

I've wiped and reinstalled SSDR, same difference.

SSDR on my other PCs and Mac SSDR work FB.

Anyone else see this weirdness on their installs?
