DX Cluster feature setup in iOS

I have been trying to set up the iOS DX Cluster feature so that I pass only W and VE spots, and can pre-populate SmartSDR spots when first starting. So far I have been unsuccessful.

I am in the midwest US, there are several clusters I can use with other software successfully when not using the iPad. But it's got to be do-able on the iPad in this app.

Are there any good instructions for adding clusters and then testing the connection? How can I log in to one and then do the equivalent of

• setting the filter to only pass W and VE spots
• prepopulating the spots with some history, as in "sh/dx/120"

Unfortunately I may need some detailed steps, as some entries don't seem to behave like I would expect.
