Auto tune TGXL

Hello .. I'm VA2JN Jean I have a small question. I use a TGXL with a Flex6600m. I'm sure the tgxl can adjust the swr automatically without pressing the tune button, just need to select my frequency and a ptt shot and it should tune at least I think, if so it doesn't work what to do ?

The best thing to do is train the tuner for each antenna on each band. There are ten memories per antenna per band up to 4 different antennas on a band.

For example, my 80 meter antenna. I start at 3.525 MHz and tune. I go up 50 kHz and tune again. I repeat every 50 kHz up the band, ending on 3.975 which is the tenth memory. Now when I operate I am never more than 25 kHz from a tuning solution. The tuner will use the closest tuning solution.

It's a good idea but tell me does it tune automatically or I always have to press tune each time if it's not in memory

It does not auto tune but if your SWR does not change and you train it on each band the tuner will track radio frequency and use closest tune solution. Rarely do I need to retune.
