Any Ideas? No RF pwr out on SB, AM ok. Flex 6400

I have a Flex 6400 Sig series with Smartsdr 3.3.32 installed. I was on a reginal net recently and my mic quit working suddenly. I upgraded fron 3.2.39 last week. I removed the hand mic and connected a headset and foot switch. The radio will now key up and mox and tune works. I can put power out on AM, but no rf on sideband. I did a reset on the radio still no joy. I also took the hand mic head off of my Yaesu FT-991 and tried it with similar results. Any suggestions?
