I just purchased the ACC-8P-TRS 8 Pin foster to 1/8in (3.5mm) TRS and RCA for FLEX-6400(M) or FLEX-6600(M). I am a little confused about how it is wired. I rang it out before plugging it into the radio and Yaesu microphone. I found that the tip of the 3.5mm TRS plug did not go to pin 8 on the 8 pin Foster adapter. The tip on the TRS plug it going to pin 7 on the 8 pin Foster adapter.
The wiring diagram for a Yaesu microphone show MIC+ is on pin 8 and MIC- is on pin 7. In other words the white wire of the microphone cable goes to pin 8 and the shield or braid goes to pin 7. So, what is a mother to do about this situation? Call Flex and ask them?

What did you do? Did you get it working? Change the wire to pin 8? Inquiring minds in the same situation would like to know?
Thank You
