External RX/TX Switch for use with a L144-28 Downeast Transvertor Question

I just picked up a used L144-28 Transverter which is configured for separate RX and TX. I would like to keep it in that configuration as I WILL be looking at using separate antennas down the road.

Can anyone suggest a good quality RX/TX Relay that I can use in the mean time? I've seen the MFJ-1708B-SDR-S and it looks like it will do what I want - but suggestions for something a little more substantial with regards quality/construction? Or am I being too picky?

Or would this be suitable? Tohtsu CX-600N SPDT N

    Hi Richard, what radio are you using it with? You might not need a relay at all.

    I just realized that I read your original post as split IF as opposed to split RF...

    Yes, the relay you show should work well. If you change your mind and decide that you want to stay with one antenna, you can order the relay from Q5 and install it on the transverter board yourself.

    This is a 2016 unit, so it has the K3 relay already installed.

    I think I will order the Tohtsu - what have I got to lose apart from $120 :-)

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
