Creating a Slice C in Smart SDR using Flex 6600M

I am missing something pretty basic. I just yesterday replaced a 6400 with a 6600M. I operate FT8 and wanted to receive on 4 bands / 2 antennas in Smart SDR.

1. I am surprised that Slice A and B the on front display of the 6600M does not mirror Slice A and B in Smart SDR.

2. I can't create Slice C because +RX is greyed out. Am I already using 4 slices?

Any insight would be helpful.

Mike

Hi Mike, yes you already have all 4 slices in use - two on SmartSDR and two on the front panel.

Look up SmartControl in the manual. This will allow you to have all four slices available to SmartSDR. I believe that you can also turn off the front panel.
