WSJT-x On 6800M

Hello all,

I am buying an 6400M and want to keep it independent of my PC hence the M version.

Can I connect with a USB cable from the 6400M into the pc like I do with my icom 7300 without installing SmartSDR on my pc?

I would expect that I would still need to download DAX drivers..

    There is no USB connectivity from a Flex to a PC (to an amp or tuner, yes, via CAT or bit/BCD wiring).

    The connection to your WSJT-X instance is via Ethernet cable. You WILL need to install and run DAX and CAT to talk to your Flex, but SSDR is not needed (although is certainly handy if your PC is not at your radio desk)

    Brilliant thanks that’s all I needed to know.

    I did have a 6500 around 8 years ago and stupidly let it go for a 990 but I am now getting a 6400m thanks for you help..

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
