Do not get full output power when PGXL has MEFFA Activated
My name is Mark Griffin, KB3Z. I have a brand new PGXL. I have had it over 1 week. But it seems when I have MEFFA activated, the Max Power Output with 100 watts input is 850 watts. And yet, if I have MEFFA not activated, the Max Power Output with 44 watts input is about 1430 watts. I was under the understanding that with MEFFA checked that the amplifier would run more efficiently and would require more input drive power to get full output power. But in my case, that doesn't seem to be the case. Why is this happening? Would someone please care to explain to me why this is happening? The firmware version I am using is 3.6.23. I have also put in a Helpdesk Ticket a few minutes ago.
Mark Griffin, KB3Z
