update may be doing something funny

Good morning everyone. I have a 6600M. I did the latest update v3.2.34.3128 the day after it became available. All seemed to be good. When I turn the 6600 on it comes up with the following info/operate /smartlink software. I touch operate and it switches to select a version /smart control. I touch run and the screen goes off and it comes up with loading again. Normally I did not have to do all of this.

Is this normal?
