Audio problem

I am using a new Mac mini and am getting the following error message. Output queue start failed status=66680. Ideas?

This is an issue mentioned in the common issues section of the manual.

Open the Audio menu (the gear Icon at the top) and see what is selected as output device. It might be a device which is no longer available and you need to select a correct output device (e.g. the default speaker). 

The same would apply for an input device, A Mac mini doesn’t have an Internal microphone, so in order to get rid of a possible message for the input device you can select “Listen only”.
