Flex6400 & Flex 6600 VS Flex 5000A
Hello everyone
I wanted to have the opinions of other OMs who have had or have the opportunity to do listening tests as I have been performing them for several days both in the morning and at night. I am using in real time in RX connected to a two flex rx splitter, the first a 6400 or 6600 against a 5000a. the two rtx equipped by ssdr and the 5000a by the famous sw KE9NS. the computer in use is a 32giga quad core I7.
I tried to set the two rx in the best way but with different software in the optimal and equal way, especially configuring ssdr in the same sampling of the flex5000a 192khz.
I am finding in all my available bands (10-15-20-40) that in 5000a the signals are much more intelligible and clean but the impressive thing with a very, very low background noise compared to the two new signatures.
all the AGC and RF gain adjustments I made with a high power sample signal emitted by a friend of mine not far away.
have any of you encountered or had the opportunity to have fun testing these two RTXs vs a flex5000a?
