ERC Vsn 4 USB Rotor Interface to Raspberry Pi

I have a Yaesu G-450A rotor and ERC USB Interface. My 6500 and NodeRED (on a Pi4) are running at a remote site. I could simply add a PC running PSTRotator at the remote site, but my preference is to install some program on the remote Pi and have it communicate to NodeRED. Can this be done, or am better off just adding the PC?

Thanks, Ron K2RAS

It can be done. You can take my rotor flow and substitute the UDP nodes for a USB request node (in & out). Then edit the commands to match your rotor's protocol.

Give it a shot and let me know if you run into issues.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
