You can use a relay buffer such as the Ameritron AR704B. That will give you extra protection for the amp keying line.

This is my favorite. Using it on an 6600 and AL80B. Use an 3.5mm TRS to dual RCA splitter Y cable to peel out the active low and active high connections on the UKA-3.
