Remove spectrum covered by TNF from AGC and S meter

I don't know how feasible this is, but I would like to see a signal that is removed by the TNF not be part of the AGC loop, and not show in the S-meter. Occasionally, there is a horribly strong carrier that I can remove with the TNF, but it knocks down the gain of the rest of the passband and gives an erroneous S-meter reading for the desired signal.

Thanks for your consideration & 73,

Len, KD0RC

Not much help, but a little explanation. The TNF works in the audio chain, after all the rf processing (S-meter, agc, etc). it’s not the way I want it to work either, seems to me the TNF should reduce the level in the pan adapter, at the rf level of processing. I think that would also accomplish what you want.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
