Place For New Members To Introduce Themselves

Hi Everyone, I am relatively new to ham radio. I wonder if there should be a thread for new members to introduce themselves. There may be one, but I was not finding it.

I currently have a Yaesu 991A and was looking at Yaesu FTDX101MP or similar ICOM product. Sort of a hybrid between electronics and software. SDRs interest me for multiple reasons, one is that my career has been in IT for the last 32 years. I hope to learn a lot by watching various videos and reading.

Not sure a special area is necessary for introductions. Just jump into the category of your choice (i.e. Maestro, Signature Series, SSDR software, etc) and create a post to introduce yourself and ask any questions you want. You will not likely be disappointed by no answers :-) - lots of opinions and advice available here!

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
