N1MM transmit freq issue

in SmartSDR for Maestro and M models
I recently purchased a 6400M and using it with N1MM. If I limit myself to slice A everything is fine. If I click onto a signal in slice B, I can transmit on that frequency as long as I used my paddles, but if I use the N1MM function keys the message is transmitted on slice A even though I am hearing the station on B. What am I missing?

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
