Bluetooth Foot Pedal for PTT

Options

Curious if anyone has connected a Bluetooth foot pedal like this product https://www.airturn.com/products/airturn-duo-200 to a DAX PTT port? Trying to work out if it's configuration or a small app.

I would think that latency would be a problem using it for a PTT. When used to control audio equipment latency wouldn’t matter.

Any reason why latency would be worse than a bluetooth keyboard?

I use a Bluetooth headset and it works fine with my wireless keyboard for ptt. Not sure why it would have a latency issue. The latency is widows sound system with the pc audio. Anyway since seeing your post, I have been trying to figure out how I would interface the foot pedal so the rig would recognize it.

Lou, Let me know what you discover. Just reading through the Airturn manuals I didn't see a way to script the connection. Might be an excuse to write a little Windows app to connect Bluetooth to CAT PTT.
