6600M microphone not working

I have owned the radio for some time and never recall using it locally. Winter is coming. Getting the radio ready for remote ops. I picked up the hand microphone, LSB, 40m. Transmit relay activates. NO audio transmitted. MIC selects Default Proset HC6, TX Default, Microphone highlights +20dB (but no other setting here makes audio either). This has to be something simple on my end. I am just not familiar enough with local operation to get this going. The microphone is plugged into the correct position on the rear. Thanks.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
