Newbie questions regarding panadapter

Hi folks,
I'm a brand new Flex owner. My 6400 arrived yesterday and I have been making my way through the many ssdr features. I am wondering if there is any place to specify the frequency span shown in the panadapter, by entering the lower and upper frequencies to be displayed? I have found the "zoom to band" and "zoom to segment" buttons which are helpful.
Second question. Are the tracking notch filters the only notch filters? Is this what I want to use to **** the tone from someone extensively tuning their amp (I presume) in the middle of what I am listening to?
