SDR v 2.4.9 to preserve profiles. How to update just the DAX drivers?

Using SmartSDR v 2.4.9 to preserve profiles. Is there a way to update just the DAX drivers to avoid Windows 10 updates interference, while maintaining the v 2.4.9 SDR?

First, you should upgrade to 2.4.10 which fixes potential SD card corruption.

You can download and install the latest SmartSDR. Just unselect CAT on install. Delete the shortcut to the new version of SmartSDR. That will keep your 2.4.x version CAT drivers but use the upgraded DAX driver.

Google flex radio Dax drivers. The reinstall is the top item.

I agree with Dave, you should upgrade to 2.4.10. If I remember correctly 2.4.10 also includes the updated DAX drivers.

Yes upgrade to 2.4.10 BUT to answer your question you can't MIX different versions of SmartSDR and DAX and CAT.

I tried it a couple weeks ago and no go as CAT and DAX couldn't see the radio and since then there has been comments to this here on the reflector and FLEX did comment on it.
