Satellite CAS-4A Unknown (to me) Signal Types

I saw two unknown to me, signal types in the passband for Satellite CAS-4A. Can anyone help me identify these signals? Is it noise or a valid transmission from CAS-4A?

    Hi Alan,

    It is my understanding that those are Telemetry signals coming from the spacecraft.

    Often referred to as "the bat wings," they are, as noted, the satellite telemetry beacons and are a form of wide-shift FSK. Your screenshot is showing both CAS-4B and CAS-4A at the same time, which can happen a lot as they are in similar orbits with 4A following 10-15 minutes behind 4B. Each satellite has its own set of bat wings.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph.
