Does a multi-user remote need to share the same email and password?

Hello. I am quite new to all this but have a question to make sure I understand things correctly and am not missing something.

I am working on setting a remote for shared use. As I understand it, I have to use a single user and password and everyone that wants to connect to my radio would share that. So if I want to let multiple friends connect to my radio, I need to give them a single user and password we all share?

Is that correct?

I ask as I saw a discussion of multi-user SmartLink but that does not seem done yet.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
