I looked at the community guidelines and I did not find anything that would prohibit the posting, but I would like to ask first.

I manage a Linkedin group that focus is Amateur Radio. We are approaching nearly 5,000 users world-wide. Can I make a post to this community to pass the word out about the group? I would like to hear from the admins on this question about policy. We do not sell anything there, just many posts that are of interests to amateur radio operators world-wide.

Since it is ham radio centric and people can opt in, this type of post would be appropriate in the Amateur Radio Interests category.
