6400M receiver won't start

My 6400M receiver won't start until I do a band change. Trying to make this radio work is more of a hobby than ham radio. Any ideas how to fix this problem. I'm running the latest SW release. 73, Rick, W0PC

    Hi Rick, did the radio ever work right?  Did you do an upgrade recently?  If so, did you do a cold start (not factory reset) of the radio as part of the upgrade?

    Do you have it connected to your computer, if so do you have Smartsdr installed.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
