OTH Radar on 6m

Just thought I'd share this snip of the OTH radar signal on 6m in case you wondered what it might be. This signal is thought to be from either Cyprus Syria or Turkey. What you see in that swirling smoky signal which sits above the FT8 area of the band is OTH (over the horizon) radar. That kind of zig-zag swirling you see in the waterfall is the rotation of the radar array as it points away and then turns towards you over time. It is a good propagation indicator to the middle east from the UK.

Similar signal was coming at 150 deg from here (KN33HL), which is direction to Cyprus, Syria, Turkey.
