Using XVTR with 2 slice - Antenna selection

First of all sorry for my bad english but I think all of you can well understand the matter.

I am not sure if I running wrong or not ... but this is the situation:

Versione software 3.1.12
Maestro console
Flexradio 6300

Only one slice in XVTR mode (tx and rx antenna = XVTR).

I open the second slice.
When I run the second slice the RX antenna on slice 1 change from XVTR to ANT1.
(the tx antenna still remain on XVTR)

I change the slice 1 rx antenna to XVTR but, at this time, also the rx antenna on slice 2 change to XVTR antenna. (obviously the slices are running on 2 different band ! )

My question is : is this normal ? .... And, if yes, should be possible to use different rx antennas
when 2 slice running? (XVTR slice with XVTR antenna and second slice with ANT1).

I note that this is possible for TX antenna but not for RX antenna.

Maybe I have some wrong setup ?

Any help it's appreciated.

Hi Stefano, yes this is normal. Even though you have two slices, there is only one reciever (spectral capture unit). You can listen to two frequencies at the same time, but they share an antenna and preamp. 73, Len, KD0RC

Len is 100% correct. The SCU (spectral capture unit) can only be connected to one RX antenna at a time so if you have two panadapters open and change the RX antenna of one slice, it will change the RX antenna of the other slice so that are the same.
