W6LVP Loop question

I am using a Flex 6400M and have a question about using a W6LVP Receive-Only Loop antenna on the RX IN jack of the Flex. Will I need anything to turn off the 12VDC loop's power when transmitting? Or does the Flex do that for me? And how far away from my transmitting antennas should I install it? Thanks & 73. Scott W1AL

    The Flex will not do.

We use a FO0AAA loop, about at max 30 Meters from TX Antennas . It has it´s own PTT based power OFF relay. But even not using it ( the relay )  in Contest with legal limit we had no issues yet. It´s a question that should go to the aantenna designer. It has nothing to do with the Flex Radios as such.
