Balanced 1/4 TRS, or XLR from outboard audio to Flex Maestro B

I keep forgetting that I no longer travel with my maestro and have it available in the shack.
In an earlier post, I asked about hooking a mixer to my flex 6300. To be honest, I would like to keep my ic-sm20 hook up to it, if possible.
Instead how can I hook up XLR -> to the rj45 or Mic2 port on my maestro B? I do not want the maestro to supply phantom power to the mic cable.
Would the 3 pin XLR to 1/8 TRS for Flex-6400 work?
or
Of the Inrad M-F for 3.5mm FlexRadio 6400/6600 work?
I am planning on using an external foot switch.
Thanks
