Hi All,

My 6600M (v3.18 when it became available) has been running flawless for about a year.  However, the F-KEY BUTTONS no longer have backlights.

I did the following troubleshoot:

1 - rebooted
2 - when INFO, Operated, SmartLink Setup, Log In screen popup, all BUTTONS
      have backlights
3 - after enabling OPERATE, all BUTTONS backlights are still on
4 - after enabling RUN v3.18 (and after reboot), there is no F-KEY BUTTONS
Backlight.  All other buttons have backlights when enable including
     LOCK BUTTON
5- did a factory reset (held pwr button until it turned WHITE)
6 - did steps 2,  3, and 4 above
6 - still no F-KEY BUTTONS Backlights

Before submitting a HELP TICKET, I would like to thank your help in advance.

Would you verify that when you tap on the MENU button on the Maestro display, and then select Maestro, that the Button backlight option, near the top is still enabled. That could be the problem. Also check that the LED slider is not set too low.

    Hi Neil,

At 77 years old,  I still can't see the forest through the trees.  Always just looked at the LED Bright Control to the right and never looked to the left under DISPLAY Control.

Many thanks as I can sleep better again.

    Hi Jay,

I got a definitive answer from Neil N3DF.  On my 6600M, I never looked to the left under (FRONT PANEL MENU) DISPLAY Control to see BUTTON BACKLIGHT disabled/enabled.

Many thanks for your rapid response.
